Odell Beckham, Jr. has staked his claim as one of the best receivers in the National Football League, but he’s also had a lot of ups-and-downs over the course of his eight-year professional career, traveling from New York to Cleveland and, most recently, Los Angeles in pursuit of a Lombardi Trophy.

Beckham, Jr. finally helped his team reach the mountaintop on Sunday, recording two big catches for 52 yards and a touchdown for the Rams before exiting with a non-contact injury to his left knee.

It was a tough moment for fans of the former LSU Tiger, New York Giant and Cleveland Brown to watch considering all that Beckham has been through over the course of his career, but it wasn’t all for naught as Beckham found himself a Super Bowl Champion at the end of the night.

On Monday, Beckham, Jr. released a series of updates on his Twitter account, and it seemed as if he was all smiles despite the injury, following the biggest and most meaningful win of his career.

Last season, Beckham tore the ACL in his left knee attempting to make a tackle after a Baker Mayfield interception.

As is often the case in sports, everything came full circle for the mercurial and sometimes controversial superstar.

Beckham, Jr. appeared to be jubilant as celebrated with his 4.2 million followers.

Beckham was forced to watch the second half from the sidelines and said he had been planning to get back on the field, but doctors advised against it.

“We don’t know yet, we’re going to wait to hear,” Beckham said about his health status going forward to a CBS Sports reporter.

“I was trying to go back out there. Docs are going to take care of you,” he added.

Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp stepped up in Beckham’s stead, catching eight passes from Matthew Stafford for 92 yards and two touchdowns, including the game winner.

Beckham said he had “nothing but love” after the game despite being unable to continue.

“There was a moment I was in the back room, they told me I was done,” Beckham said.

“I had to come back out there and be a part of this because it’s something much bigger than myself,” he added.

“And these boys pulled through and made it happen. So, it’s nothing but love.”
