The Golden State Warriors are the defending NBA champions, coming off of a season during which they decimated the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.

Now, the Warriors have a lot of planning and sorting out to do in order to ensure that their dynasty will continue.

Among the big decisions are whether to extend the contract of Draymond Green, the former Michigan State Spartan, and for how much money, as well as whether to extend Jordan Poole, the team’s latest young star out of the University of Michigan, and for how much money going forward as well.

Some in sports talk radio have speculated that Green and Poole may be jockeying for position as their contracts are up for renewal in the coming years and there is only so much money to go around.

Regardless of the conditions that led up to it, the fact of the matter is that Green struck Poole during Wednesday’s practice in California, and it has the NBA world buzzing about the ramifications that are sure to ensue from the high-profile incident.
